The city of Kochi (Cochin) at all times had popular, historically established maritime trade relations with the Middle East, Mediterranean Europe and Holland. The city has one of the best natural harbors on the Arabian coast. The cosmopolitan character of Cochin is reflected in its buildings and structures representing different regions of the world.

Spend a day exploring the tropical coastal city of Kochi, where you'll discover an intriguing mix of world cultures. Visit one of the oldest Jewish synagogues in India, decorated with blue ceramic Chinese tiles and surrounded by a fragrant spice market. See the story of the Ramayana depicted in the beautiful frescoes of the charming Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) and visit St. Francis Church, both of which were built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. At the entrance to the harbor of Kochi, you will see cantilevered fishing nets brought by traders from southern China, evidence of the centuries-old connection between these regions. In the evening, visit the Greenix Theater for extravagantly dressed Kathakali dancers.

In the morning after breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, one of the most popular mountain resorts in southern India. Under British rule, Munnar was often referred to as the "Indian Switzerland" due to the similarity of nature and cool climate. The entire territory of the city is occupied by dense forests and tea plantations. Munnar's specialty is jungle honey, tea, and the rare Neelakurinji flower, which blooms once every 12 years. After breakfast, we will visit a unique charity initiative in Munnar that aims to develop the hidden talents of children with disabilities, most of whom come from the families of local tea pickers in Munnar. Here we will see three projects that aim to educate children with disabilities for a better future: a special education center; project of printing on fabric with natural dye; and a division for the production of paper and handicrafts. Products made by these children are sold in a small shop next to the workshops and exported to Japan and Europe. Visiting this unique initiative once again confirms that enthusiasm is a sign of spiritual health, and imperfections make a person beautiful!
In the afternoon, visit the local tea plantation and Tata Tea Museum to learn about the cultivation and further processing of various types of Indian tea.
On this day of the tour, we will go to the Periyar nature reserve, located on the beautiful shore of the lake. It is the most popular wildlife sanctuary in South India. In Periyar, you can take a walk on the lake and watch wild animals in their natural environment. Tigers, leopards, elephants, bison, antelopes, sambars, wild boars, monkeys, a wide variety of birds live here. In the afternoon, a tour of the spice plantation. Overnight in Periyar.
In the morning, enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake. Later, after a leisurely breakfast, descend the impressive escarpment on the way to the village of Kumarakom. En route, stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Kanjirappalli, the gateway to the Kerala highlands. Upon arrival in Kumarakom, check in to your beautiful lakeside hotel.
On the morning of this day of the tour, take a boat trip to the spice plantation. In this region famous for the production of Indian spices such as cardamom and pepper, a spice plantation tour is an incredible sensory experience. Explore the aromatic paths of the plantation before enjoying a delicious lunch joined by the family of the plantation owners.

Morning drive to Alleppey, boarding a houseboat (Kettuvallam according to the local name), and cruise around the beautiful Vembanad lake. This trip will give you an unforgettable experience. Water creates a cooling effect, while trees and shrubs soothe sun-weary eyes. The lake is the best place for a picnic where you can relax your mind and body. While the elderly can laze around the lake reading a book or talking, the younger ones are offered activities such as fishing or boating.
